Donations are crucial to the ongoing development of our facilities and programs. In recent years, Federal and State revenue shortfalls have led to funding reductions for Breakthrough.  Services for individuals with autism are already underfunded and yet they are some of the first to be reduced during difficult times. The result of these cuts is that that more of our State and Federal funding goes toward staffing costs rather than program improvement and program oversight.  Private donations enable us to maintain and improve the quality of the programs that we offer, purchase materials and equipment, develop new programs and expand services.
